2.1.- The problem: How to obtain and prepare the data?

In the following content, Carlos Cano Gutiérrez, Associate Professor in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence at the University of Granada, and Pedro Carmona Sáez, Assistant Professor in EIO at the University of Granada - GENyO Center, will teach us how to download and prepare the data in a real problem in Omic Sciences.

Section: Capsule 1 - The problem - How to obtain and prepare the data? The example has been designed using the R programming language, and this document details the theoretical framework of the methods used as well as the R code that would be used to carry out each of the analysis steps. The evaluation of the module will be carried out based on the information contained in it as well as the content of the videos of the module. Additionally, although it is not necessary to pass the module, for those who want to execute the commands and have previous knowledge with Jupyter Notebooks, we have made the Python Notebook available to you where you can execute the code.
